This wonderfully spirited 12-week-old female Cavapoo arrived in the world with a personality already fully formed and a confidence in it that is both completely charming and faintly hilarious. Trisha did not come here to blend in. She came here to be Trisha — fully, loudly, with complete commitment and absolutely zero apology — and watching her do that every single day is one of the genuine privileges of spending time with her.

She is not Sheina’s quiet luminosity or Samuel’s easy charm. Trisha is something louder and brighter and more immediately present than either of those things. She is a puppy who fills a room not gradually but immediately — from the moment she arrives, you know she is there, and the room is better for it.

She plays with focus and creativity — inventing new games mid-session, recruiting anyone nearby into her schemes with a social confidence that would be impressive in a dog three times her age. She trains with enthusiasm and a competitive streak that seems faintly directed at herself — as though she is always trying to beat her own personal best. She rests when she has decided resting is appropriate and not a moment before — but when she rests she does it completely, with the deep, satisfied sleep of a puppy who has thoroughly used her day.

In between all of that she will check in with you constantly. Not anxiously — Trisha is far too self-possessed for anxiety. But warmly and regularly, a quick look, a nudge, a brief but deliberate moment of connection that says — still here, still yours, still having the best time — before she is off again on whatever comes next.
